We Build Our Own Software, Too

Most studios can show you a portfolio of other people's projects. We can show you ours. TeamRelay and MatchTagr are on the App Store today. Touchline HQ, 4thebadge, PropertyBuyWise and Mindset 4 Sports Performance run as web products with real users, real billing and real support tickets.

That matters because shipping is the hard part. Anyone can build a demo. Getting through App Store review, handling the customer whose payment fails at midnight, keeping an app working through three iOS releases - that is the work most projects underestimate. We have done it for ourselves, and we do it for clients the same way.

iOS & Mobile Apps

We build native iPhone and iPad apps in Swift and SwiftUI, from the first sketch through to App Store release and the updates that follow. Native means the app feels like it belongs on the device: it is fast, it works offline where it should, and it uses the camera, notifications, widgets and watch face properly rather than wrapping a website in an icon. Where a project needs Android or both platforms, we take that on and will tell you honestly when a web app would serve you better for less.

What we build

  • Native iPhone and iPad apps in Swift and SwiftUI, including App Store submission, review and release
  • Apple Watch companions, widgets and notifications, as in MatchTagr's live tagging from the wrist
  • On-device features that work without a connection, as in TeamRelay's offline speech translation
  • Android and cross-platform builds where the audience needs them
  • Progressive web apps that install to the home screen without an app store at all, as 4thebadge does
  • Ongoing releases, crash monitoring and support once the app is live

SaaS Products & Customer Portals

If your customers need to sign in, see their own data and pay you for the privilege, that is a SaaS product, and there is more to it than screens. Accounts, permissions, billing, trials, refunds, an admin view your team can actually use, and hosting that stays up. We build the whole thing and keep running it, the way we run Touchline HQ for football clubs and PropertyBuyWise for property buyers.

What we build

  • Customer portals with accounts, roles and permissions that match how your business really works
  • Subscription billing, trials and one-off payments, with the invoicing and failed-payment handling behind them
  • An admin side your team uses daily, not an afterthought bolted on at the end
  • Integrations with the systems you already run, so data moves without anyone re-keying it
  • Hosting, backups, monitoring and the security work that keeps customer data safe

Internal Tools & Dashboards

Plenty of businesses run on a spreadsheet that one person understands, a shared inbox nobody owns, and a process that lives in somebody's head. It works until it does not. We replace that with software built around how your team actually works: the fields you need, the steps in your order, the reports you are currently assembling by hand every Monday.

Typical projects

  • Job, quote and scheduling systems that replace a shared spreadsheet
  • Dashboards that pull numbers from several systems into one view
  • Forms and approvals that route work to the right person and chase the stragglers
  • Reporting that used to take a morning and now takes a click

AI Built In, Not Bolted On

Where it earns its place, we build AI into the product from the start rather than adding it later: search over your own content, summaries of long documents, or speech and translation, as we did in TeamRelay. We will also say plainly when a piece of software does not need AI at all. If AI is the main thing you are after rather than a feature inside a product, our AI Solutions page covers automation, custom agents and rapid prototyping in detail.

How We Work

The same staged approach we use for the apps we publish. You see something real early, and every decision after that is made with evidence rather than a slide deck.

1

Discover

A no-obligation conversation about the business, the problem and what a good result looks like. We map the workflow and agree a clear scope for the first stage.

2

Design & Prototype

A clickable design or a working prototype in two to three weeks, so you can hold the thing and change your mind before it is expensive to do so.

3

Build

We build it properly, connect it to the systems you already use, and add the testing, security and documentation it needs to be trusted in daily use.

4

Launch & Support

App Store release or go-live, then monitoring, updates and improvements as your business changes. Support stays with the people who built it.

Who We Help

Small and medium businesses across Australia, typically teams of two to two hundred with plenty of work and no IT department. These are the sectors we know best, though we are not limited to them.

Trades & Construction

  • Job and quote tracking your crews can use from a phone on site, not a laptop in the office
  • Site photos, variations and sign-offs captured against the right job as they happen
  • Customer-facing portals so clients can see progress without ringing you

Professional Services

  • Client portals for document exchange, onboarding and status, with proper access control
  • Matter and engagement tracking that replaces a spreadsheet and a shared inbox
  • Reporting packs assembled automatically from the data you already hold

Sports Clubs & Associations

  • Registration, fixtures, availability and volunteer rosters in one place - we built Touchline HQ for exactly this
  • Member and supporter apps, as we built 4thebadge for football fans
  • Sponsor and grant reporting compiled from data the club already collects

What We've Shipped

Seven products of our own, across sport, property, communication and security. Two are on the App Store, four run as web products, and one is in development. Each one went through the same path we would take your project down: discovery, prototype, build, release, support.

Why Work With Us

  • We ship - our own apps are on the App Store and our own web products have paying users, built by the same people you will work with
  • More than 30 years of engineering and business analysis - we understand the workflow before we write code for it
  • Small by design - you deal directly with the people writing the code, not an account manager
  • We stay - support and improvements come from the team that built it, not a handover document
  • Honest scoping - we will tell you when a simpler solution will do, or when you do not need us at all

Where We Work

We are based on the Central Coast and in Newcastle, and we work with businesses across NSW and the rest of Australia. Most of the day to day happens over video and email; the conversations that need a whiteboard happen in person.

If you are local, start here: app developer on the Central Coast or app developer in Newcastle and the Hunter.

Got Something to Build?

Tell us about the app, the product or the process you want to replace. Marco, our AI assistant, can help you describe it, or use the project form. Either way, we'll get back to you within two business days for a no-obligation conversation.
